The Spatial Humanities 2020 conference will take place at NOVA FCSH from 24 to 25 September 2020, a joint organization of the NOVA FCSH Digital Humanities Laboratory and the Lancaster University Digital Humanities Hub. The call for papers is currently open and will close on February 28th.
This meeting aims to explore the contribution that geospatial technologies, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), can bring when applied to research in the humanities. Applications are accepted from all humanities disciplines (and not only), as well as from all technical domains (GIS, digital humanities, computational linguistics and computational science).
The keynote speakers are Dr. Katrina Navicka, from the History department at the University of Hertfordshire; and Dr. Barbara Piatti, from Basel (Switzerland).
