Workshop Controlled vocabularies and knowledge organisation for the digital humanities
On July 12, 2021, will take place, by videoconference, the training Controlled vocabularies and knowledge organisation for the digital humanities, a joint initiative of the ROSSIO infrastructure and the Linguistics Center of the NOVA University of Lisbon (CLUNL) and Library of Art and Archives/ Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (BA/FCG). This workshop aims to exchange experiences and applications of controlled vocabularies for research and projects in the field of digital humanities, including research infrastructures, libraries and other cultural institutions linked to social sciences, arts and humanities.

Terminologia e organização do conhecimento: sistemas, normas e ferramentas
On July 13, 2020, took place, by videoconference, the training Terminologia e organização do conhecimento: sistemas, normas e ferramentas (Terminology and organization of knowledge: systems, standards and tools), a joint initiative of the ROSSIO infrastructure and the Linguistics Center of the NOVA University of Lisbon (CLUNL). This demonstrated the importance of terminology for the organization of knowledge, contextualized the development of a thesaurus for ROSSIO, and involved the members of the consortium and the community in general in this process.

Exposições e coleções virtuais: um contributo para o ensino à distância
On January 24, 2020, at NOVA FCSH took place a training event Exposições e coleções virtuais: um contributo para o ensino à distância (Exhibitions and virtual collections: a contribution to distance learning). This event was focused on distance learning and the importance of MOOCs, highlighting the work developed by the NAU Platform. The model of exhibitions and virtual collections to be made available on the ROSSIO platform was also presented.

On November 11, 2019 took place at NOVA FCSH, the training action Preservação de sítios web institucionais (Preserving institutional websites), promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology, Unit FCCN – National Scientific Computing, within the scope of the partnership with ROSSIO. This made known the added value of preserving institutional sites and the way in which this task can be carried out.

Acesso à informação estatística
On October 25, 2019 took place at National Statistics Institute the training action Acesso à informação estatística (Access to statistical information), organized in partnership between ROSSIO and the National Statistics Institute. Detailed and practical knowledge about the INE Portal was provided, focusing mainly on its content structure and information areas.

Workshop Humanidades Digitais e Infraestruturas de investigação digital
On September 19, 2019 took place at NOVA FCSH, the Workshop Humanidades Digitais e Infraestruturas de investigação digital (Digital Humanities and Digital Research Infrastructures), co-organized with the Digital Humanities Laboratory (IHC – NOVA FCSH). Digital Humanities and their applications were described, but also the digital infrastructures, their objectives and typologies, and in this context, ROSSIO.

Workshop Rossio Project: Terminology and Ontology for knowledge management
On September 20, 2018, took place at NOVA FCSH the first workshop Rossio Project: Terminology and Ontology for knowledge management. Professors Christophe Roche and Rute Costa were the responsibles. This workshop aimed to demonstrate the role of terminology and ontology in the organization of knowledge, despite its mastery.
