The NAU Platform will be launched on April 3 at 11 am, a technical infrastructure for Distance Learning and Training for Large Audiences (MOOC or Massive Open Online Courses), aimed at Public Administration and Higher Education.
NAU intends to bring Public Administration closer to citizens in general in order to make it easier for them to get information and improve services. At the same time, higher education institutions have a greater impact in attracting new students, disseminating scientific production and increasing their internationalization.
Led by FCT, NAU already has online courses in progress and has more than 10,000 registered trainees from 11 participating institutions that promote their training in MOOC format.
The launch of the NAU Platform will take place at Espaço Alerta da Futurália – the Education, Training and Educational Guidance Fair. It will have the intervention of the Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education, João Sobrinho Teixeira, and the Secretary of State for Health, Raquel Duarte.
