The opening session of the UNESCO Digital Humanities in Education Chair will take place on October 20, at NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities, at 11h30 am, and will be broadcast live via Youtube. It will be attended by the Secretary of State for Education, Professor Doctor João Costa, the Dean of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Professor Doctor João Sàágua, and the director of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Professor Doctor Francisco Caramelo.
The event intends to officially present the new Chair and will feature interventions from a group of researchers, projects and entities participating in it, including the ROSSIO Infrastructure. The chair is the result of a partnership between NOVA FCSH, the Open University and the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, and has the support of the Ministry of Education and the Foundation for Science and Technology, in this case through two NOVA FCSH laboratories: CETAPS Digital Laboratory and IHC Digital Humanities Laboratory.
